Aims

The Swansea Organ Association was formed in 1964 to create interest in the organ and its music. Membership is open to players and non-players alike and is non-denominational.
The current membership subscription is 8 for adults and 5 for students. Subscriptions are due at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in May or sent directly to the treasurer.

Organ recitals in churches and chapels in the area are held on the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise stated, and usually commence at 7.00 p.m.  The general public are cordially welcome at all recitals. Admission is free, and a collection is taken. Audio and video recordings are not allowed at events.

There is an annual outing going further afield, to hear and play organs of particular interest. Previous visits have included Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Brecon, Bristol, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Honiton, Ludlow, Malvern, Ross-on-Wye, Tenbury, Wells, Tewkesbury, Coventry, Gloucester, Hereford, Leicester and Worcester.
